Walking with no bags!

Today the fam. and I decided to check out the new location of Book King. We walked around town vs. driving to pick up a few things. We also loaded up my messenger bag and the stroller vs. using plastic shopping bags!

Now, if I could only remember to bring my reusable bags with me. I think we will just leave them in the car from now on.

Bye bye abundance of water bottles!

After many promises I bought a Brita water pitcher. I've had one before and absolutely loved it. I drink too much water at work to not drink it at home. It's good for me and I need to drink it even more. Only problem was that I hated the taste of city water.

Hopefully this is a fix. I'll have to research proper ways to dispose of the pitcher filter's.

Going green, by terms.

I'm not sure exactly where or how I became curious. I guess if I've been able to take the better road to doing things that I've at least considered that option.

I've created this blog to document a personal journey of becoming a more Earth conscientious, and environmentally friendly.
